On this unique tour through southern Norway, we’ll discover the “Land of Mirrors” in all its splendor, exploring the breathtaking fjords and national parks. We’ll travel in a small group with a Spanish-speaking guide, combining the country’s most iconic sights with hikes to places not everyone gets to see, and boat trips where you’ll be awestruck by the majesty of the mountains.

Day 1: Arrival in Bergen and transfer to accommodation. Welcome to Norway!
We will arrive at Bergen-Flesland Airport located in Bergen, the second-largest city in Norway, situated in the southwest of the country. Arriving in Bergen is like landing in a living postcard. From the air, we will see how the city unfolds between green mountains and the deep blue sea. The fresh, salty Atlantic air creates a sense of excitement in the atmosphere. Bergen, with its mix of impressive nature and a vibrant cultural life, promises to be the start of an unforgettable adventure at the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. The journey has begun! Día 2: Along the fjord coast
Next, we will leave the city of Bergen behind and head south. Along the way, we will visit the UNESCO Sunnhordland Geopark, with its impressive geological richness. There we will take a hike where we will discover how glaciers shaped the landscape, creating the great fjords and unique formations. An ideal experience to get to know Norway's geodiversity and natural history up close. As we approach Stavanger, we will visit the Sverd i Fjell monument, next to the Hafrsfjord, characterized by its three Viking swords that symbolize peace, unity, and freedom in the history of Norway. Day 3: Sunrise at Preikestolen
Today we will have to get up early, as we will do one of the most exciting trekkings of the trip. During the early morning hours we will make the ascent to Preikestolen, also known as the Pulpit Rock. We will begin our walking route in the middle of the night's twilight and, after approximately 2.5 hours of walking, we will reach the summit to experience a sublime encounter with wild nature in a different way, fleeing from the tourist crowds. We are at the most popular natural viewpoint in Norway, with a vertical drop of 604 meters, to contemplate one of the best sunrises, enjoying the effects of the sunlight illuminating the impressive steep cliff that rises above the beautiful Lysefjord or Fjord of Light. After seeing one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of our trip, we will set off for our return. In the afternoon, we will have free time during which we recommend visiting the old town (Gamle Stavanger), with its settlement of white wooden houses, considered one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world. The harbor, its museums, and the center with Øvre Holmegate street with its colorful houses. Without a doubt, it is the most lively city in Norway, with a great atmosphere in the harbor area, with its bars, restaurants, and street concerts that usually take place in summer. Day 4: The valley of waterfalls
In the morning we will leave Stavanger and head north towards the town of Odda, known for its valley full of waterfalls. Near the road we will see Vidfossen, Espelandsfossen, and Låtefossen. In the afternoon, we will go to contemplate the glacier front of Buarbreen and then we will take a short hike to get a closer look at the Strandfossen waterfall, and on the other side of the valley we will spot the Tjørnadalsfossen waterfall. Day 5: Navigation through the Fjord of Dreams
We will start the day traveling along part of the shores of the Hardangerfjord, the second longest in Norway, until we reach the spectacular viewpoint of the Vøringfossen waterfall, where we can see its narrow and beautiful river valley from above. After this, we will head towards the largest fjord in Norway, the Sognefjord, with its 204 km length. We will pass through the picturesque village of Flåm, where we will take a speedboat navigation through the Nærøyfjord, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An exciting activity in which we can enjoy the natural magic of its vertical mountains rising before us, waterfalls, and small rural villages on the shores of the fjord. Even if they show themselves, we might spot seals, porpoises, and ospreys. We will continue north and visit the Stegastein viewpoint, a structure that projects 30 m beyond the edge of the mountain, 650 m above the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the famous Fjord of Dreams, offering an matchless panorama. Day 6: Crampon hike through Jostedalsbreen National Park
Today we will experience an unforgettable nature encounter, enjoying calmly and safely the largest glacier in continental Europe. The adventure will begin with a relaxing boat ride across a glacial lake with calm waters, where you can admire the landscape in peace. After the crossing, we will walk for approximately one hour along a very flat and simple trail, ideal for all levels. Upon reaching the glacier front, our expert guides will explain how to use the equipment (crampons and ice axes) clearly and simply. Next, we will enjoy a 1.5-hour guided hike on the ice at a very calm pace and with very little incline, safely exploring the beautiful blue ice formations of the glacier. The activity is designed so that any nature lover can enjoy it, without the need for prior experience. We recommend wearing high-cut boots so that the crampon straps do not bother your ankles, allowing you to fully enjoy this magical day. Accommodation in the Sogndal area.
Day 7: Flåm Railway and bike descent through the Flåm valley
An intense day full of experiences awaits us. We will head back towards the picturesque village of Flåm, where we will explore the fjords in a different way. In the morning, we will enjoy the famous Flåm train, which has been described as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. The route will take us from the end of the Aurlandsfjord to the high mountains of Myrdal station. From Myrdal, we will descend back to Flåm. For the descent, at the time of your booking you can decide whether to return by train or make a descent of about 20 kilometers through the valley walking and cycling, discovering a multitude of waterfalls and magical corners of this wonderful natural environment. You will find more information in the 'About the trip' section. If you decide to do the descent walking and by bike, optionally, you can take a zipline to do part of the descent on it down to the bottom of the valley, where we will continue by bike. In the afternoon, we will have free time to enjoy Bergen, the country's second-largest city, with great cultural history and Viking origins. We recommend strolling through the lively and picturesque streets of the Bryggen neighborhood, famous for being the Hanseatic wharf declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we can buy souvenirs in its craft shops. Day 8: End of the trip – Return flight
Depending on the flight time, free time in Bergen to make some last visits or purchases. Departure to the airport where we will officially say goodbye to the fjords to return home.
