The impressive Dynjandi waterfall is located at the beginning of the Arnarfjörður fjord. Often compared to a bridal veil, the falls are 30 metres wide at their highest point and 60 metres wide at their lowest point. Dynjandi is the largest waterfall in the West Fjords and is well worth the short walk. Starting from a parking area on route 60, it is about a 15 minute walk to the base of the waterfall. On the way you will pass 6 other small waterfalls... so you can take advantage of the walk to take lots of beautiful pictures and enjoy the surroundings.
