Vettisfossen Waterfall is located in Utladalen Valley, Norway. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in the country, with a nearly vertical drop of 275 metres. It receives its waters from two glaciers, Stølsnosbreen and Koldedalsbreen. The route to reach it from Hjelle passes through Utladalen Valley, which is situated in a protected landscape area. Along the trail, visitors can admire other waterfalls such as Hjellefossen, Avdalsfossen, and Høljafossen, the latter known for its emerald green colours.
